I've had a couple of professional reviews of my most recent short story collection posted recently. One even made the web site's front page.
Admittedly, the reviewers shared what they didn't like as well as what they did like. We're all so different as readers, though, it's unlikely you'll ever hit someone else's preferences 100%.
For example, one reviewer's top criticism is that my endings don't always wrap things up neatly but leave lingering questions in the reader's mind. I can't argue with that, but I've also got a couple of Amazon reviews that point out the very same thing as something that reader really enjoyed.
Oh, speaking of reviews, I put up another couple of reader reviews in the details section of my books. Feel free to check out what other readers are saying.
And most importantly of all when it comes to reviews, please leave me reviews! It means a lot to me when I read your feedback on Amazon or Goodreads, and it helps other readers find my books, too.
