Short Story Half-Pack
Welcome to the free download page for the Short Story Half-Pack!
This collection features three of my fantasy short stories, meant to give you a taste of the full Short Story Six-Pack collections (or as a thank-you for joining my newsletter, if you’re already familiar with my work).
I like to call my writing style quirky and imaginative. I do wander into more serious territory now and then—but usually with a light touch. Yeah, yeah, I know: subtle isn’t always my strong suit. But I’ve never liked when a book or movie gets too preachy. I’d much rather ask what you think than tell you what to think.
The download is in EPUB format, and it’ll show up with the rest of your Kindle eBooks once you add it to your library. You can do that easily using Amazon’s Send to Kindle tool:

If you're hungry for a preview, you can find a little information about each story at the bottom of this page. And if not... well... dive right in and have fun!
When I wrote the original high fantasy Short Story Six-Pack, I challenged myself to take the wackiest fairy tale or nursery rhyme I could think of and twist it into something new. I landed on Hey Diddle Diddle—then immediately laughed at how impossible that would be. Naturally, I wrote it anyway. And when it didn’t fit into the original collection, it found a perfect home here in the Short Story Half-Pack.
Good and Evil
I don’t want to spoil too much about this one, but let’s just say you’ll meet my take on some original superheroes and supervillains. It’s the age-old showdown: good versus evil. Although... if you suspect I’ve tossed a monkey wrench into the mix (or a spanner, for our international friends), you’d be absolutely right.
Reflection
Each Short Story Six-Pack ends with a dash of romance—sometimes sweet, sometimes strange. We’ve had a spousal romance, demonic romance, and even a medieval one. Now it’s time for a different kind of love story: one with a reflection. Yeah, I know. Weird, right?
